Becca Meyers, MA, LPC, ATR-BC
Pronouns: She/her/hers
Hello! I'm Becca, and I'm here to help you find your way home to yourself.
I've been exploring the concept of self as home since my undergraduate days as an art therapy student, and it's remained at the heart of everything I do. This work means understanding the patterns and influences that keep us feeling stuck, disconnected, or like we're living someone else's life—and discovering the resources that bring out our most confident, unabashedly authentic selves.
I've witnessed in myself and in my clients how life begins to shift when we start relating to ourselves with more compassion, acceptance, and gentle curiosity. Your relationship with yourself is the one constant throughout your entire life. Imagine what becomes possible when that relationship is rooted in support, understanding, and love. You deserve that—and so much more.
my approach
I bring warmth, curiosity, and playfulness into our sessions. You can count on me to ask questions, to sit with complexity, and to gently challenge you when it serves your growth.
Some days, therapy could be filled with laughter and levity. Other days, it may feel overwhelmingly heavy. I'll walk with you through the depths of your pain while offering grounding and an open heart. I'll create space for whatever shows up, with gentleness and patience. I'll cheer you on as you forge new pathways and celebrate your successes alongside you. I'll model authenticity, imperfection, and self-compassion, because you don't need a perfect therapist—you need a real one.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time dancing Lindy Hop, crafting or making art, spending time with my two fur babies, playing board games with friends, or working on puzzles. These are some of the things that remind me what it feels like to be fully present, unguarded, and comfortable in my own skin.
I believe in practicing what I preach—that rest isn't earned, that play matters, that you don't have to be productive to be worthy. My life outside this work is part of what allows me to show up fully inside of it.

is therapy with me right for you?
This might be a good fit if...
You're exhausted from trying to have it all together and ready to try something different.
You're curious about creative, body-based approaches to healing.
You want a therapist who will challenge you gently and celebrate your progress genuinely.
You're willing to slow down, get messy, and explore what's beneath the surface.
You're looking for a space where you don't have to perform or prove anything.
This might not be the best fit if...
You're looking for quick fixes or a checklist approach to healing.
You need crisis intervention or intensive support (I'm happy to provide referrals for higher levels of care).
You prefer highly structured, protocol-driven therapy like CBT or EMDR.
You're not open to creative or somatic approaches.
You're seeking someone who will tell you exactly what to do rather than help you discover what's right for you.
If you're unsure whether we're a good match, let's talk! A free consultation can help us both get a sense of whether working together feels right.
